Radon – it’s more serious than you think

Statistics link 10-20% of lung cancers to radon.

The level of radon in the air has more impact on health than radon in the water.

Your local health department may offer free radon air testing kits.

Also, the American Lung Association offers kits for sale at very reasonable prices through their RADON TEST KIT STORE:

  • $18 for a short-time test kit, which includes testing and mailing.
  • $30 for a long-term test kit, which includes testing and mailing.  These long-term tests usually give a more reliable reading.

I thought I knew a lot about radon but I learned even more from this and am glad to have that knowledge to share.
